  • Selecting the right equipment can be daunting, whether you are a complete beginner or seasoned pro with years of experience.  The most common complaint we hear from divers is that the equipment they currently own will not allow them to progress with their diving to allow them to explore further without the substantial costs involved in replacing a great deal of their kit.

Selecting the right gear is about making choices based, not only, on what you want to do now but also in the future; kit that will allow you to progress with minimal further expenditure and minimal changes to your existing equipment setup.  Our staff have decades of experience with a huge range of gear and are here to help you get the right advice and the right equipment from the start.  Check out the equipment articles on this site for more imfomation on specific recommendations.

The Dive Shop is a complete recreational and technical diving facility offering diver training courses through PADI, TDI and GUE.

The facility is stocked with equipment from many leading dive manufacturers.  Our staff have a huge range of experience in all forms of diving and are in the ideal position to be able to advise you as the right gear for your next underwater adventure.  Our on-site service centre means we have the ability to service and repair most brands of scuba equipment.

We organise trips, both UK and abroad, throughout the year for suitably qualified and experienced divers.

The aim of the DISRC site is to provide a single focal point for all safety and incident matters concerning sport or recreational (not commercial) diving.  Whilst it excludes 'Commercial Diving Operations' it does include those divers who are 'At Work' such as recreational and technical dive instructors.

This site provides links to:

  • Diving incident reports, diving accident reports and diving incident data capture forms.
  • Best practice information for diving and hyperbaric medicine and medical incident management.
  • Reference & research materials pertaining to incident management, hyperbaric research, agency training standards, human factors research, in fact anything to do with improving diver and diving safety.

GUE Courses

Global Underwater Explorers emerged out of a shared desire to safely explore and protect the underwater world and to improve the quality of education and research in all things aquatic.  In line with the original vision of its founding members, GUE is committed to developing safe, skilled, and knowledgeable divers more

The Dive Club

The Dive Club was set up to create a friendly environment in which divers could get together to organise dive trips and social events.  The club does not involve itself in any training activities but is an ideal environment for newly qualified divers to meet like-minded people and get some diving experience.  They organise, on average, at least one trip per month with two weekends per month being the norm during the summer months.
